Exclamation Anyone removed FRS ecu module?!

Hi there!! Has anyone sucessfully remover their ecu from their Focus RS, I have located it in the drivers side footwell and removed the trim below the ecu and the trim below the steering column. the ecu will slide down so far out of it's bracket but not fully as the wiring harness resticts it! the other problem being theres a metal clamp holding the plug into the ecu. has anyone removed it? there seems to be a nut underneath this clamp on the other side which is very hard to get to! It was getting dark so i've left it for today!

Any help appreciated!!

Cheers

you won't get the nut off.; it is there to stop you removing it.

cut the bugger out is the best way.

Pair of decent pipe grips around the sheared off end of the bolt is all you need, if it's the same as a 1.6 ecu bracket.
