it all depends where you want it to go i run mine inbetween the rad and intercooler so use a twin spal fan set up as they dont have the centre nut that sticks out and could damage the intercooler, which the kenlowes do.
if your going to mount the fans on the intercooler then kenlowes are all good, go for a twin fan setup if you can afford it.do you have any temp prblems when in traffic ect??cheers

Im just thinking about ordering two 8" spal fans for my build... They are very slim and as said, dont have the centre nut.

I run a single kenlowe purchased via GRS on my S2 and its mounted between rad and cooler. It overheats on summer trackdays but i dont think thats a fan issue, more a general airflow thing wrt positioning of rad and cooler...

get a second fan marc, i only had one and it would overheat, get a second fan an 82 degrees thermosta and cut the front slightly to aid air flow.

Front bumper is very modified. Next step would be to remove the centre bar and i'm not doing that!
Already got the 82 deg stat.
Cooling system is fine, with a new rad and a not very old (<10000 miles) gen ford water pump.
Might try another fan if it ever comes out of its bubble again

Having had both - i still have the Spals on mine (on rad) and they are great

The kenlowe has a nut on the outside of the casing (attached to the spinning fan) which nearly drilled a nice hole in one the the GRS intercooler veins, when the intercooler moved slightly when the car was in motion - the spals have all moved parts enclosed in the casing.. and they blow better
