XBOX 360 users????
can anyone help?
for a little while now i have been havin problems when playin live, basically i cant join a friends game and vice versa on rainbow 6 vegas 2 , nor can i private chat them (its ony 2 or 3 friends tho ) anyone know why this could be? also if someone else sets a game up and me and one of my friends join that i have probs connecting with i cant hear them , unless SOMEONE else starts a party (new thing from latest update) but then if i host a party they cant join it etc ,
tried deleting them as a friend then adding them again but to no effect
, buggin the shit outta me now .
Any suggestions?

Could be your firewall not allowing the ports needed through or forwarding them to your xbox.
You might get a "Strict NAT" error.
I also turned off UPNP on my modem, and they gave all sorts of issues, so check thats turned on too.

Its just xbox live at the moment, been having grief ever since they sent out the upgraded new version, its fucking wank.
Keep dropping friends while being in the online gamer party. There will probably be a patch soon to try and sort all teh glitches (sp) etc.

I've had this, basiclly set the DNS settings manually don't use DHCP for them. You'll need to go onto your router and find out what your ISP DNS IP address are once you have them set them manually to the console.

do NOT do that, most ISP's change their DNS servers from time to time and then it won't work
