Default Headlight wash/wipe on a Saph

Just a little niggle.... my headlight wipers won't park themselves properly, they do work, but it seems like pot luck if they are both parked after using washers on the screen.

Is this normal, or has something gone amiss!?

It's not normal, they should park perfectly, after a set sweep.
I would pull up the arms(wipers off glass) and operate a few times to see where they settle, they should return to the same position all the time.
If not it suggests the park switch inside unit has failed, getting a bit sticky etc.
You can still get these motors new, I bought one last month for £13.50 from ebay, brand new never been fitted.

if you don't have the stops it fucks the wipers up as they get caught under the glass/plastic trim

so make sure you put the stopper back

I had them come up last night from I think allpartsford, as I was looking around, I know mine came from RETRO FORD on ebay.
I used them tonight as done around 180-200 miles today, as soon as headlight wires worked the light output was massively better, mine did not have these on when I got the car but like the std look so put some on, glad I did now.
I'm bound to see some more tonight so will write item number down and pm you.

I bought two blades amd arms from fords, plus 2 x left clips top attach arms to blades, around £25-£30 from memory.
They are std fitment also on a large number of volvos.
You can only get the left side clip between arm and blade, well think it's the left defo only one side but can just be put upside down to do the other side no problem just means one has water pipe for washer on the underside one on the top side, but both work perfect.
