75metres from my house....sheet ice+right turn+kerb = bent wishbone + FAIL! WITH PICS
Yes......thats right...another vehicle related fail for me to content with!!!
Left my house this morning after de-icing the car......got the the bottom of my road....slowed down......went to turn right and accelerate off & failed miserably....car went straight on smacked the kerb with the wheel on full right lock and bent the wishbone that much that the wheel now sits a few mm from the arch!!!
Needless to say I turned round...parked it up back in my driveway & made myself a coffee....on the plus side I get to work from home today!!!

We've had snow our way so everything has been 15mph but I've been using it to my advantage.. Didn't know a fwd cab could drift so well haha
Slid sideways into a car park space out our offices was a near perfect move but my boss didn't look to impressed lmao

i bent my wishbone last time i went out on ice, again straight on at a right hand turn!! didnt bother getttin the car out yesterday and walked my ass about!

its BLOODY icy here too and its pissing me off. yesterday and today i couldnt get the focus up the st due to ice! had to about turn and get her car. today was scary though as i slid round maybe 90 deg and had visions of hitting a kerb

Gutted mate, anymore damage than that? Your lucky otherwise! But hey, you'd be bored if you didn't have something to fix...I just poked at a rusty pipe on me RS to get it to burst sooner, just so I can fix it!

Had this on my pushbike on way to work, half 5 in the morning, half asleep, front wheel hits ice and fucks off, i lay on pavement in a mess, get up look around to see if any saw me and fucked off rather quicky! lol

UPDATE......
Yeh the collision was in my daily hack the Borat......wishbone & balljoint have now been replaced and I pushed out the new standard bushes out & fitted my Powerflex ones in the arm aswell.....the old one was bent like a banana...anyway pics below...
It also caught the inside of the alloy....and took a little nick out of it....ah well shit happens....they needed refurbing anyway! LOL!
Got to get it tracked up tomorrow as its knocked it out slightly but the wheel does now quite happily sit in the middle of the arch so no other damage has been done thank fook!!!
