Default FRST manifold+turbo in a mk1?

Has anyone used a FRST exhaust setup in a mk1 Fiesta with a 1.6 CVH? If so, where the hell did you place the alternator? Just interested as a friend of mine is building a mk1 in our joint garage and it looks like mission impossible for the alternator. Any pictures or comments would be more than welcome.

that's a good question. the alternator is tight as f*ck in a mk3 so it must be terrible in a mk1. can't really remember the shape inside the engine bay to be honest but is there anyway you can cut away some bodywork?

It's not my car, so not my problem. I'm just interested as it looks like mission impossible. If someone actually has managed to fit it somewhere, I'd be interested to have a peek and show the picture to the guy building the mk1 turbo fiesta.
