What a complete ball sack of an "engineer" that twat with the glasses is - after being asked to just clean up a shaft for a new bearing the thick twat takes 42 thou / 1mm off the diameter so the bearing is slack as chuff and knocks and bangs about on the shaft - his responce "I'm happy with that, its fine"

Just a good job that thick cunt doesn't rebuild engines - just imagine the clearances he would leave for pistons when re-boring

for us to side with you in this, what can only be described as, an absolute atrocity towards the world of engineering - we need more info into what it was they were restoring.
if it was an old steam engine con rod from 1901 then who cares.....
if it was indeed a cosworth engine or similar then yes he deserves to be sacked.
isnt his name jerry.?
i'll never forget the time he had to make a tapered bush for a boat propeller. it was a 1st year apprentice job, and he made it out to be the biggest eng. job in history. he then continued to completely balls it up by doing it in the wrong way.. the prick ended up drilling holes through the prop vanes to mount it to a faceplate
(when it didnt even need machining)
he also rebuilt a f5000 small block v8 engine in one episode..

They rebuilt some old WW1 train a few episodes ago and he made out that getting the 90 year old lister engine to run was some sort of massive mission, when it just needed a good soak in parafin
