ive been offered a full st running gear but wouldnt knwo what to use it in,

its got no history but is a complete front end to fit into something else, doubt it'd go into a mk4 escort or anything liek that

is it worth getting in to?

it seems very cheap at £1300 the lot! (also had fiesta st gear at £1000) woudl that be better?

what you guys think?

 

st what? focus? mondeo? fiesta?

 

the hole lot would go in anything just need to work out how and get it done you need after market management though

im thinking of doing it to a connect

 

yeah its focus st, can have key etc etc, bit liek pats i guess

im more into old cars like series 2's but maybe worth a go

just dunno if i can be bothered if its alot of hassle

 

ive just bought a st 170 engine and 6 speed gearbox for 400 quid.
seen the same on ebay for 700,so 1300 sounds a bit expensive.

 

yeah but this is the propper st, not the 170

cheap buy it to sell on if it doesnt get used my focus st 06 has just had new gearbox under warrenty and i saw the recipt it cost them £1800 what would that have cost me

i've got a focus st engien box and ecu etc, the ecu sits in the inlet manifold and the wires plug into something into the main engine, so the engine loom looks like it's stand alone

 

what did you pay?
