Default 1 bedroom flat, Renting - what bills to expect?

Right...

Proper pissed off- live at home with the old dears and a million siblings and have really had enough- which is such a change from the chuffed feeling I had an hour ago after donnington.

Anyways....

Found 2 local flats 1 bedroom with garage and £450 a month- bit closer to work and resonable areas- ideal for a single bloke with 2 cars PMSL.
1 of em is furnished too.

Bills then...
Council tax
gas
electric
water
tv licence

Anything else, can someone put some rough prices to those too so I have some idea what to expect.

Cheers

J

Oh no- at the moment its seeming like a VERY good thing- bout time anyway I'm 28 and earn enough money, I just know that it now means my house deposit wont get any larger as I'll spend all the money renting.

Hey ho...

It's not that usual to haggle on the rent, but you can.

£60 on your mobile phone?!

mine is £30 for 1000 txt and 1200 ANYtime minutes. Do you use more than that?

rest of the prices seem right i guess.

Council tax for £75/100 sounds nice. Mine is £253

Not quite... with a 95% mortgage its more around the £600 mark (at the moment) and then on top of that with a flat (which is what I would get near me) I have service charges and what not and leases to consider+ extortionate fee's and crap when I take out a mortgage- been looking at buying all year and had enough of it all.

I totally get your point however and if it wasn't resonably forced I wouldn't even consider renting as I save £350 a month at the mo which is going to be £500 after Christmas which all goes in the deposit pot.
