Default Rear suspension bushes, anyone know how to change them?

Hi, just took my saph 4x4 cossie out for a play. Whenever i went into a tight bend and put a little extra lock on with the car, loaded up (cornering at speed) it felt as if the back end wanted to give.

Its difficult to explain, but the front end was really positive and direct but the back end seemed not to be able to keep up with the front. I wasn't powering it out of the bends, just cornering. It felt like it wanted to squat down when ever loaded up, smooth cornering it was fine at.

I've had a hatcback sierra before this one and it never felt like this, it was always predictable and well balanced in the bends.

The only thing i can relate this to is when the compliance bushes died in the hatchback. Then the front end felt really dead and larthagic but the back was fine. The cossie's the opposite way around.

Is there anyway of checking the rear bushes without removing?

Do you have to remove the rear lower arm to get them out?

Where are they all located?

Thanks in advance for any assistance in this.

Big pry bar to check play

If you are doing the beam mounts you need to remove the whole beam if your doing the arms, replace them with the standard ford part because they are spherical bearings.

Where are they all located?
2 ream beam mounts, 2 in each arm

check also your bolt tightness. i had the feeling that the rear end was steering when powering out of a corner last saturday. had a look underneath and all 3 bolts on one side of the beam mounting were loose thought i'd better tighten them before i went to hockenheim on sunday.
