Default What petrol for a Rover 214

Help I have a Rover 214, I put some fuel from Jet in it, but the only station near me the pumps say Shell on them. Will it be ok

off course not you fooking tool such a finely tuned machine requires only top quality hi octane petrol

although i did see this in regards to the original....
many antifreeze suppliers have introduced Universal Coolantor Global Coolant products that are one-size-fits-all coolants claimed to be compatible with ANY new vehicle cooling system

My mate has a Rover diesel, the fuel in it looks red, does that mean I can only put red coloured fuel in??

rover/mg tend to use long life anti freeze, florecent pink when new (at least the newer cars are) no need to see any car.

i know what you mean mate, basically if your guna buy sum new antifreeze be sure it is glycol based. (i think thats how its spelt)

Will not make a blind bit of difference hat antifreeze you use as it ill still pop its headgasket.
Personally i would use salty water as antifreeze in a rover, with a top up of piss every so often.
