can these be bought off mondeos to fit the cossies inlet? look the same..

 

easy enough and cheap enough to get a cossy 1 mate, unless theres a reason for wantin a mondeo 1
seen all sorts of iscv's on all manner of cars,
can usualy be interchanged reasonably easy enough
never tried the mondeo 1 but prob could be used

I don't know what mondy you have been looking at, but on my one it is a valve with a alloy "housing" moulded on the end with two holes that go on a flat surface on the underside of the inlet manifold, one hole in one hole out, so totally different to cossie, unless you are talking small turbo escos ?

no mondeo ones will fit. a genuine cossie one from the likes of msd are not that dear - and is your old ond actually broken, or just full of gunk? get it placed in an ultrasonic bath for 10 mins - it will clean it up inside above the plunger where it gets all icky and sticky and will be like a new one

 

Aldi were selling small ultrasonic cleaners for under £20 a few months back.
