My Escort RST S2
I currently own a Escort RST S2, reg F872MRA, i no from looking at the car that it is no where near standard, im am tring to find out what has been done to the car.

Yea it did go to roger sports, but he has closed down now i think, it also went somewhere else, there is a plack in the engine bay, but i cannot remember where it was, ill have a look.

yea, it did have the intercooler sticking out of the bonnet, it also had a cut of switch on the left hand side infront of the window, massive discs and calipers, brake lines runinging inside the car, plus loads more, when i am next at the car i will go round her and note all of the bits i can see.
has anyone got any other pictures of her? if so i would be very greatfull if you could post them up on here.

long story, basically a mate baught it off his mate that had to sell it for some reason so he got it cheap, it then just sat in his garage until he decided to sell it, just wanting the money he payed for it so i snaped it up. it is littered in performance mods and been told it was running around the 300bhp mark.

ha ha i no that car it was rogers it was sold to a chap in notts a few years back the shell was mint i took the cage out of it and sold it to tim butch. it has one of rogers co2 bottle breathers on it lol. it was 1900cc if i remember right. it has still got the stuff roger did to it i see it still has the boost controler on it and fifth injecter. it never ran right and i never looked at it to see why but assumed it to be a bogus bottom end as i took one of his so called 1900's to bit's and it had had the ring lands welded up (one of rogers finest tricks ) don't get me wrong the shell was a minter but the numbers where less than perfect. i think mark from notts rs breaker took it as a debt but can't remember for sure. it was a rolling road block when roger did national day as the fuel tank has no baffles and it kept cutting out due to fuel surge.

it had a truck intercooler cut down hanging out the front of it, i checked it out one day and discoverd it had no divider in the end tank so boost went in the top and out the bottom without going through the intercooler part at all. i think it has a moded 3i fuel metering head on it as well and s1 antiroll bar set up. i think the fuel metering head is fooked and was one reason it never ran right, don't get me wrong it was years ago but it all looks to be the same as it was when i last looked at it. i hope this is of help

The engine should be a 1900 american tall block, if that makes sence.
It now has a front mounted intercooler on her
yea i no what you mean about the numbers.
I was told that the turbo had slight play in it and was smoking slightly, the bloke who owned it before my mate suposidly used it as his track car.
do you know if power engineering had it before or after roger?

no mate power engineering had nothing to do with the car roger (dodgy fecker) put the sicker on and as far as i can tell you it hasent turned a wheel in anger since it was sold due to the running issues. the car it's self is good it just needs going through and sorting out. it had a chipped ecu and was a tall bolck 1900 as you say. it also had a big zorst and lots of other suff but it never got finnished off properly. it will make a good car it needs pulling apart to be honest and rebuilding so you know whats going on with the mota. roger built the car from a mint shell it had no rust at all so you have a good starting point and lots of good bits. i think stevey boy ported the head and put the engine together but he was a stupid old fool so it would be wise to stip it and check it's all good as he had some bad habits to say the least. the turbo wasent up to much when it left and smoked then so i think they are pulling your chain about it deing his track car, i have never seen it on track only when roger had it and it fooked up then. like i say it will make a good car it just needs a good go over and sort out. all the best with it and keep is up to date with what ya find

good lad it will be a good car it just needs a bit of work and a good tidy up and it will make a nice mota, like i have said it had lots of small issues but nothing that could not be sorted but at the time roger sold rogersports to a lad call mongy, he was a right cockend and ripped off lots of folk including me so before it all went tits up i took loads of stuff off him to recover my debt before the bailifs took the rest. it was a shame realy as i wanted rogers old s1 4x4 cossie but the wanker mongy sold it to a lad from sheffield before i got it. i was well pissed off to say the least so took anything that was worth anything just to get the money he owed me hence the reason i took the cage out of this car and would have taken it as well but that to dissapeard over night. arr well you liv and learn lol
After having some hard times i think the escort has to go, i just simply dnt have the money atm abd dnt want her just sitting there to rot.
i think the best thing for me to do is brake her, im not sure.
