i got a letter from lowell portfolio 1 saying they had aquired a dept from 3 mobile of mine,i phoned 3 who said they didn't have any record of me owing anything but to deal with the collection agy directly.

been reading some forums saying they are cowboys chancing there mit and to send a letter template asking for proof of the dept.

its only £15 but i pay 3 by direct debit and have always just upgraded (never left them YET).

anyone had similar on here as it seems its widespread?


tempted to just pay it as it will cost me more to put ink in the printer for the letter than to just pay

 

report it to your local office of fair trading
and by the way dave you also owe me 15 quid then
