Default battery help.

need a new really good battery.

needs it to be over 560A
and idealey it needs to be square terminal.

any suggestions please. need to fit in a s2 escort

I always get a good one from a tat yard for a mk5 diesel, they are only a tenner, have plenty of cranking power, never had a problem!

i put a 097 that i have on mine biggest 1 that would fit in the battery tray

Go for a Heavy Duty 620amp Calcium Battery from Halfords they are good if your running a heavy sound system I think I paid £50 for it and it fit's ok apart from you will have to undo the two bolts and slide the ignition coil a bit higher then tighted the two bolts again as the battery is a bit longer.

i ended of getting a 095 from euro car parts which i think is 640A and just fits in the tray

i knew a geezer who worked there. yeh was brand new and got it for £51.64. i thought that was well cheap mate
