Default Handbags and shoes

My girlfriend likes Handbags and shoes (Yeh its strange I know).

And I want to buy her some for xmas (coz it means i get less earache)

Any women out there point me in the right direction.

I'm not bothered about the cost, but I'm still a man, so no stupid £5k shoes or anything

It depends how much you want to spend...

It depends what sort of bag you want to get her....an investment...or an everyday bag.

For an everyday bag personally I would choose something from Radley, Kipling, Fiorelli, Tula....anything from your major department store (John Lewis, Debenhams)

For a bag that that is something you will keep forever ... Marc Jacobs, Dior, Miu, Chloe, Balenciaga...I could go on for hours!

As for shoes...I am cursed with MASSIVE feet but personal faves would be Christial Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Giuseppe Zanotti, Miu Miu

Try the following sites for ideas....

If you want a bag and shoes that go together and that she can wear regularly try Dune or Moda in Pelle. They aren't cheap or expensive, like mid range (£50-£80 bag, (£75- £160 shoes). You can even try River Island/Topshop they have nice shoes. And All Saints have some good stuff but they aren't your everyday thing, they are a little bit out of the ordinary (I personally love their stuff)

But as said above if you are willing to spend a little bit more then there are some really good brands and designers to choose from, but you are prob better getting her shoes OR a bag. Miu Miu bags are gorgeous!

Oh and if you go for Radley make sure you get her a decent sized bag!! My bf bought me a Radley bag the first xmas we were together but he didn't wanna spend over £75 cos we hadn't been together long so I ended up with a dead small bag that I never really use!!!

Moda in Pelle Shoes are gorgeous and not too expensive really, as above, id also say have a look in Debenhams at bags, as theyve got some really nice leather ones that are pretty reasonably priced.

How is £795 good value for a bag?

Free Tesco bag, stretch handles so you can wear it over your shoulder and voila.

THAT'S value.

!

The last wedding we went to, I gave my camera to the future ex Mrs Paddy as I felt like a perv.

She took about 20 pictures and more than half were of her own fucking shoes.

Christian something... google says Louboutin. Must have been fairly expensive as she wouldn't tell me how much they were

Cola bought a Mulberry Maple handbag and purse earlier this year - then promptly bought some Christian Louboutins to go with it

could have bought a car for what she spent

My x had over 350 pairs of designer shoes and as many hand bags most had never been used.
In 19 years I had never bought her handbags and shoes as a present roflol

I had no idea she had spunked this much till she left
What is this shoe fetish they have is it a medical disorder, if it isn't it should be

lol I have my priorities and bags are one of them!!

I do wear my shoes when I buy them (well usually) and I like expensive bags but I ruin bags easily, so I have a Baby Phat one for Uni, I've had it about 8 months and its been pulled around a bit but I feel ok with that cos it was only £85 and I feel like I'm getting my moneys worth cos I use it nearly everyday!!!

You only wanna be paying a few hundred quid for bags which you are gonna take care of and only use occasionally (I wrecked a £500 christian dior bag by going on a drunken night out in Chesterfield of all places )

Hope my past life experiences can be some help vroomtshh!

You sure it was a shirt and not a blouse that would explain the £170

As the Mulberry lady said to me, it's an INVESTMENT lol

And Tony, I definately paid for it all with my OWN money (and I note that Dave doesn't say how much he spent on Tag and Tumi for him - with his own money too lol)

Moda in Pelle were recently hurt by a court case with Gina, over a a very similar design

Moda lost the case and had to destroy thousands of pairs of these shoes!! shame hey

I admit I have bought a few items from there (I used to HATE the place!)

Nope, still don't get a bag as an investment!
