Default Fiesta Cosworth Rally Car

Starting to get a few questions about the car now.
So to stop any other threads going off topic, I thought I would start one.
Its not my car its my Dad's, my little bro drives it and I do the chase car

Awesome car, was it this one I saw at the Somerset Stages last year?

Edit: Just looked at your site and it was, I got these pics of it.

Loads of people were loving it wondering what the hell was under the bonnet

I like the top one.
I never get see it, as I'm always trying to get to the next service.
That was a good Rally. The tools at the fueling point put the wrong bloody stuff in though, which screwed up the pump for the next rally.

Keep an eye out in the new mags next week.

I think my oldman might have some pics. I lost most of mine when the HD in my laptop shat itself.
The bit that was a real ball ache was having to redo the roll cage.

Yes.

Only ever had one problem with scrutineering, and that was on the first rally we did with it.
2mm gaps in the weld at top of the roll cage, that you cant see because of the roof.
Went back to the van, drilled fucking great holes in the roof and welded it up.

love it well done !

i suppose the dimensions of the fiesta suit the cat 3 rules but the car i was gojng to do didnt, the problems are that the scrutineers dont know the rules properly themselves so make it up half of the time.

nice work pal

Jesus titty fucking christ, that is the worst.
I've spent hours in the past flicking through the blue book.
You would think they would do the same.

And cheers.

I lost all my pics when the HD in my laptop packed up.
The only ones I've got left are the ones that I put in Photobucket.
Stuartrsturbo sent me two he had on his phone, I'll get them up tomorrow.
What you cant see in the vid is the river at the bottom of the drop.
A tree stump stopped the car half way down.
The JWRC panels are the real deal from M-Sport. If they need to be the real carbon kevlar panels or they would be in bits just from the launch.
Infact they are that good that after the crash only had to fully replace one. The car is mega strong.

For all those that have not seen yet, we are in Performance Ford beating the DORF.

As usual any questions?

Yep.
Its mainly GrpA, with a few select WRC parts, and a fair few custom parts.

Ive personally never been happy with the air filter, but if we put it under the headlight it sucks up too much water and shit off the stage. So more function over form.
The full spec is on the site & in the mag.
