Default XBOX 360 variations

Thinking of getting an XBOX, not that into going online or anything, so think the Arcade version is probably the best option for me, and cheaper!

Obviously the memory is less on the Arcade, but what does this smaller amount actually mean?

Is it the space you have to save game progress?

If so how much can you get on an Arcade console, as in number of different game saves?

Can you get memory cards for it to expand the memory?

Any help would be great, thanks,

Rich

Go for the 80GB console mate, best of the 3.

The Arcade comes with 512MB memory.

The Pro comes with 80GB memory and (I believe) the HD DVD drive built in for better DVD viewing.

The Elite comes with 120GB memory.

I had a 20GB and never used it tbh. The memory is only really for downloading games/movies from XBOX Live, which I never did as if you fill the hard drive you will have to delete your paid for games!

You can buy the 20GB hard drive for £40, which is the price difference between the Arcade and the 80GB Pro console.

Spend the extra and get the premium with a Hard drive. You say you wont go online but you get a free month and i bet you subscribe after as online gaming is so addictive and so much better than playing alone.

DOH! Always get confused since they launched the 80GB PS3 and the 60GB Xb360. The XB360 is 60GB

^ Agreed, it's the best console for gaming and online and I bought mine purely for this reason after looking for a console. Mine's a 20GB premium and even with downloading games, extra game packs/updates and using it as a memory card I've not even used 1/3rd.
