Default Mitsubishi Evo Intercoolers. Differences?

Does anyone know if there are any notable differences between the intercoolers for different versions of the Evos?

Forget I-IV

but as for V-VIII do they differ much? And is there any difference to those fitted to specific Evo VIII's? Ie/ Is the 'cooler fitted to the MR FQ400 any different to that fitted to the FQ300 or the 360 etc?

Cheers!

i fitted one from a 5 to my 8 and found that while the diameter of the inlet and outlet were the same, the mounting brackets were in slightly different places, needed to use a longer hose on one side and a standard one fitted fine on the other side.

Any reason for fitting a 5 to your 8, or just a replacement part?

OK mate, so in terms of performance, there's not really any differences between the versions from 5 onwards?

As far as I know and have read, performance wise, no difference in any of the 5-9 Standard intercoolers - as above 5 and 6s had slight mounting differences only.
