landrover head gasket on k series, torque settings?
anyone who has fitted the landrover head gasket on the k series engine, did you use the usual torque settings or are they different for this gasket?

far as im aware i think they are the same, tho dont quote me on that.
should be
30nm then 180degrees then another 180 degrees
the tightening order is when stood at front of the car looking at the engine, starting at the left hand side (nearest timing belts) Left to right back row 9,5,1,3,7 (back row nearest windscreen) Left to right front row 10,6,2,4,8 (front row nearest radiator)
got to do my 300tdi next week, still at least its a piece of piss compared to the cossie

i got the original torque settings, thought it started at 20Nm but i will check.
just knew there was a few people on here who have fitted the landrover gasket and wondered if they just used the same figure.
