this is what i initially thought, some one poured some thick liquid all over one side of the car last week, left it on a very secure road with very expensive houses but there is some construction going on and left it near there! they probably didnt like the car coz it was the only one that got done! proper poured it in the door seals and all over the wheels which are 9.5 wide so the dish behind the spokes took an hour to clean!!!

but obviously couldn't have been them, how would they get under the hood?

 

They pour it in the scuttle area so it gets dragged in, I have done this to some as a joke with fish oil, it seriously stinks, but rubbing dog poo into the seats is better.
