basicly its my 1990 rs turbo that ive been doing up for over a year.i had only just finished putting it all back together and the one thing i was missing was the little silver clip that holds the nearside front indicator to the wing.
the test was going fine untill the tester was checking everything was secure properly and thats when he found the indicator.he commented on how clean the car was which i was chuffed about.
ford dont do the clips so was wondering if anyone has some ndicators they dont use and wouldnt mind sending the clip to me, id even pay you for it just want to get my free retest.thanks for any help keiran

 

try fordpartsuk or tomo ford parts in cowley

 

I'd just secure it with whatever you can get your hands on(string, wire, gaffa tape) then bang it in for retest and worry about finding a clip later.

 

where the fook did you take it for them to fail it for that!!! you could have taped it in or tie wrapped it just to get it through...

but at least you got a through test i suppose, id cable tie it personally

 

as said above im glad it got a good going over but did think that was bit picky,was a ford main dealer. you cant cable tie it as the clip slides into the indicator backing so there is no hole.thanks for yuor help everyone

BARRY R HAS SORTED ME A CLIP FROM HIS OLD SERIES 1 LENS,braking the lens in the process. just oes to show what good people are out there. thanks again mate
