my mate has bought an s2, not a bad motor but its misfiring on acceeration, its got a collins chip fitted, he phoned collins & they said set boost to 15psi so he did, still missfiring, checked spark & ok, checked gaps & ok, checked leads & ok, checked dizzy & ok, now we think its fuel, anyone got any ideas about the meetering unit or anything else to check?

needs a good steup.

go to descent rolling road and get it tuned

 

i would do a Compression test first

 

bring it down to my place

got to be fuel though i cant think of anything else, worste bit is me & my mate had enought bits to build a car & a half as we were guna build a track s2 but sacked the idea & flogged the bits, mistake or what.lol

he rolling road tuned my old s2.

 

thing is u put it on rolling road and if they good enuf they can play around with it and should be able to see why

 

true, i no of tourqe of the devil, bit fare for us, we got a couple of local garages round hear.

just been informed he has took it to a local garage, got it running better but still missfiring on boost, guna have another look when he gets a adjustment fuel screw thing sorted seems he lost it.
