Default turbo timers

has any1 got one or does anyone use them.

i brought a s2 escort on sunday and its got a turbo timer.

havent actually used it yet

mine is used every time the car is turned off

saves your turbo in the long run

absolute waste of time, do your self a favour.. throw it in the bin, there just a fad!
and some cat 1 insurance company's will void your insurance, ive had turbo cars for over 15 years and never killed a turbo yet from turning it off to early

havent got1 but wudnt mind 1.i make sure it ticks over 4 at least a minute and a half b4 turning off my s2

You don't need a turbo timer. Just drive it off boost for the last mile or so of your trip.

well its on there. i just aint gna use it. might end up taking it out.

only thing is i havent got a boost control inside so cant actually play around with boost when driving. i just normally sit there for a minute before tunring engine off
