Should be stated on whatever you signed (if you did) but its normally 7 days from memory.

i would say it will be the full 4 weeks as if it's after your trial period then your on full terms and conditions. unless your current contract states otherwise, read it.

If your contract runs out on the 28th of December then after that date there is no notice period, as you have no job there!

they "should" get in touch with you to see about taking you on full time before the contract is out, so this wold be the time to tell them

if you are thinking about just not turning up, itmay leave you open to some sort of "we will fuck you in the ass" get out clause by the company

tell them next week what the score is and they may just let you go

6 of one, half a dozen of the other really

Was never gunna just not turn up thats shitty.

but if i say now im leaving she mite say on ya go and can do with 1 last paycheck at new year

but if i leave it to long will have to go back in new year so was thinking of giving them a fortnights notice then if they did tell me to bugger off least would have 2 weeks wages at the end of december

just thinking catch 22 if i do it now might let me go hand it it before/on the 28 gives a months notice still might let me go do it to late and might have to go back in year interfering with new job

tell them as soon as you can as they may be counting on you to be there for the new year, they can't give you a bad reference but they can make it difficult if you've dropped them in it

never burn your bridges mate
