Default how many hours labour?

hi all, my escort needs both front floor pans welded, probably new ones put in. my question is how many hours labour average does it take to do, could i cut cost by taking out the carpet, dash ect. before the car goes in? im just trying to get a rough idea of how much it will cost. cheers
