Not sure if they were or whether they were based on the 24 valve motors then uprated.Just wondering what power they made and how good they were.

The power plant is a Ford 2.9 litre V6 engine rev limited to 7250rpm. With its single carburettor, wet sump and standard crank rods it produces 228 brake horse power and 200 ft.lbs of torque.Fairly simple by racecar standards, but was kept this way to produce cheap, fun and close racing.Regards,Micky

My old boss use to race in the Euro car championship, the car sounded the bollocks and use to go well round the industrial estate!
