personally i dont drink or smoke, cant stand the taste of booze, im just amazed how people can actually drink....its fookin disgusting...

 

Vodka makes a glass of Coke for me. I'm no big fan of Lager though.

One thing I don't see the point of exessive drinking, I hate drinking to much, that feeling of feeling sick and disy is not my cup of tea.

You can on many ships and vessels, but on fixed instalations its a definate no. You could risk peoples lives if there was an emergency and you were asleep mingin some place. I have been pissed offshore in Africa lots of times however, and with chopper piplots!

 

I don't drink much at all, maybe a can with the sunday roast once in a while.

All the jobs i've been on every vessel has had a no drink policy, even when your along side its drink drive limit when your off shift and zero when your on shift even if your knocked off. Dependent on the client and ho much of a tit they are obviously

i only drink vodka, normally neat, with coke, or mixed in with a bottle of smirnoff ice, but i only drink when out, cant drink at home, seems sad to me that u need a drink at home to relax, so only drink when i go out for a particular reason ie a birthday, wedding, catch up with some old mates etc...
so i prob spend about 14 nights a year actually drunk
