last night i went to bleed my front brakes. the passnager side brakes.

i was trying to undo the bleed niple and it has sheard off, the screw peace is left inside the caliper. its probly stuck in tight and wont move, how do i go about removing the bleed niple out of the caliper?

i can only think of one thing, drill it out?

 

fraid so, drill it and possibly use a screw extractor, used to be called "easy outs"

thats what you could try using, the only problem with drilling them out is that you risk damaging the caliper itself, the extractors u drill a small hole and wind these in and they hopefully unscrew the stuck part, (they screw in reverse)

If you drill into it hold it upside down.

Need to reduce the amount of swarf going into the caliper as much as possible.

 

OR slack off the brake pipe tht goes to the caliper,and bleed it to there,works sometimes
