hiya just bought another s2 rst problem is the rev meter works but revs very highly, its nt the engine its just the rev meter its got its on mind, and the temp gauge doesnt work wither??? cheers guys

 

Check the connections on the back of the clocks, check the earth to the clocks. Is the plug on the temp sensor (on the thermostat housing). What happens to the gauge if you remove the plug from the temp sensor and touch the contact in the plug onto the block?

If the temp gauge goes up the sender is knackered, if not then its a wiring fault or a faulty gauge.

 

with the plug disconnected it goes all the way 2 better and thnx 4 ur help u knw ur shit!!!!
