Help Guys S1 wont start
here goes...my car always starts when i turn the key.
I didnt touch the car last week of October as i was away...came home saturday, filled the car with petrol and didnt touch her last week as i was working, the Dorset snap kicked in and my car wouldnt start, found out the battery was flat.
Charged it over the weekend and put it on the car earlier, but all she does is turn over with no sign of firing up or even attempting too.
Fuel pump kicks in, got a full tank of petrol.
The car started fine on Thursday night, then Friday night it just clicked, which ment the battery was knackered. I charged that, but now the car just turns over.
It just turns over and thats it.....any ideas?

Check your coil and distributor Check what the voltages are on a multimeter.
If you have a workshop manual check what the readings should be when the ignition is on.
I had the same problem with my series 1.
