Bigger injectors
Hey all,
My S1 is running gotech EFI management and cossie injectors, been out road mapping the car and to get anywhere near my desired air fuel ratio of around 12.9(best for power, dont care about fuel economy lol). They are going way beyond a safe duty rate of 75% and flowing around 88% and sometimes 105% which is obviously not good and making it run lean and hot when the injector cant flow the fuel.
Its currently running 2wd sierra injectors(yellows) which i believe are 330cc.
What injectors should i upgrade to? Not planning on doing any more power mods as this will be pretty rapid as it is am i looking at 4x4 injectors or escos? They should also go straight into my fuel rail and inlet considering its been modified to take the yellows no?
Thanks.

You would be fine the green injectors but it is these that flow 330cc/min.
I would of thought the yellows would have been fine though? If they can run a 2.0L 16v Cossie at around 270bhp, they should be fine......???

I run 630cc Siemens (high impedance). My car idles perfectly at 14.7-15.0:1.
630cc may sound like overkill, but you might aswell have them big enough since there are no side effects.
(I have a brand new set for sale by the way!!).

I would have thought they would be fine but they definately aren't have tried many different things and as soon as i drop the fuel down so the injectors arent going beyond 75% the air fuel ratios are massive.

They are identical fitment to Bosch injectors and have the same connectors. The only issue would be whether or not your ECU can run high-impedance.
I'm looking for £200 plus postage.
