Help!!! It's an E reg S2 running standard MFI, Bailey breather kit and TP dump valve.
I have been storing it for the last couple of years and have recently put it back on th road. It was good as gold for a few weeks but has now started playing about. When it's cold it fires up and idles perfectly, as soon as it's got some heat in it it idles really roughly and dies if I don't press the throttle to keep the revs up.
I've had a look for obvious air leaks and sprayed brake cleaner on the joints (as this should get it to cut out) and it all appears OK.
I've disconnected the Cold start valve.
I also removed the Charge air temp sensor plug when it was running and there was no difference (revs didn't pick up or get worse- is this right??)
Cheers chaps!

I had the same problem with mine until i changed to coz mgmt (thats why i changed!) If you rested your finger ever so slighlty on the metering unit flap it would run sweet. It could be that ur metering unit needs adjusting, they were too tempremental for be so i binned it!
