CVH camshaft coatings
We all know that the cvh suffers with premiture cam wear but i was wondering if anyone has tried having a cvh camshaft titanium nitride coated to help pevent this?
Does anyone know if this would work? Just a thought

I've looked into it, but not actually tried it yet. Well, a coating, not what you referred to, but along the same lines.
Trouble for me is that I am not settled on a cam spec yet, so I don't want to get it coated. It's a bit of a Chicken/Egg scenario.

Cool
. are you thinking of Chromium Aluminium Titanium Nitride then?
I would be interested to know if it works if or when you try it out.
Would you get the lifters done aswell?

Well the Newman cam that has just failed for me has no wear on the cam wotsoever! It has eaten the hydraulic lifters they supplied! I dont think their cams are the problem its the valve train!
