TBH AVA were not happy with the valve seats on my CNC when it came back and did them again themsleves.

put it away for a while and see what you feel like in a couple of months or whatever if you still feel like getting rid do it then but don't make a knee jerk decision mate you'll quite probably regret it in the long run

if you feel like that, advertise it to see what genuine interest you do get in the expensive parts that will make it worth breaking.
if you get enough interest, break it and move on.

if you speak to most of the people who have broken their big power cars on here,i dont think many have regretted it in the long run....

mate dont break it, there is work in shonkey that cant be matched, all indiviaual touches that your have done etc with be lost.

no fault of yours the blame lies soles with the head company, you for the money you paid you should be expected in anyway to start checking there work for faults etc. (you wouldnt buy a new car and turn up to collet it with a tool kit and a tolley jack to start checkng it all)

Stick with it imo mate

tough one, braking mine at the mo and dont regret it at all. Might just get an escos if if can trust myself to leave it alone

The thing is you get carried away with the power thing (which means you have to do everything else) when in reality unless you do lots of track days and nice stage 3 conversion in a clean car is all you really need.

I have benn thinking the same thing with my car a LOT of times now, but im on my 9´th year now, still love the car, but just hate when it brakes down.
BUT, when it drives it puts such a big smile on my face, that i just cant break it or sell it.
TRUST me mate, fix it, maybe on a lower spec then, but fix it, u WILL regret it

Dont think you would be happy with a focus rs to be honest!not because of the focus rs because they are a very good car and are dropping in price very quickly!but u will always have that "what if"or "if only"thought in your nugget! So i say fix it!

nothing to do with the car not being able to hand the power!it was down to something that is in the process of getting proved!a standard cossie lump can hold 400bhp!
