can i use car paint as i'd like the block the same colour as my car? cheers

Yeah you can, just use a decent primer and make sure the block is cleaned properly.

i have found brake calliper paints stays on the block well.
if thats any help only as car paint may lift

take a look at the colour of calliper paint and maybe you could mix the yellow and red/orange and maybe get close, just an idea.

That "smooth" hammerite is good too, i used some on my calipers of my old car and it never came off, so i cant see it coming off a block either


Make sure its the smooth version though
