Thats exactly what i was thinking. surely a ford forum would be the best place to ask!!!

 

im sure its been said in the past that GD isnt the place for whats it worth posts. i could be wrong but im sure the place is the parts for sale section although it could be argued that theyre not actually for sale yet either.

 

thanks for comments guys. could a mod put the 'do's and dont's' up so i know what not to do again.

 

what happens if its something some one wants to know, who maybe looking at buying something. for instance whats a used garrat t3 worth??? that shouldnt go in the parts for sale coz they dont have one for sale there looking at buying one.

whilst speaking from my bunker i can explain! the post was removed a whats it worth thread general means im selling this and im to tight to pay the gold fees ! now i hear you think i am a goldmember well we are sorry about that but all the none paying members that slighly use gd to advertise have in a word fucked it for everyone else ! so now its just banner traders that can do any sort of advert in gd

(1) you dont get it do you? Sometimes people just want to know 'how much its worth' like the title says.....not some hidden attempt to sell.

(2) Babscossie is a goldmember.

(3) Why not just move the thread to the relevant room (in effect moderating) instead of deleting it; prompting these threads asking where peoples threads have gone?

(4) If you're going to quote the rules, please read them properly and how they relate to the situation in question...you're just making a fool of yourself.

Usually people get like that because they know they are in the wrong.

 

i have found said part,what should i be paying for it?

or i have found a part i need on another site with "offers",what should i pay?

 

 

make a random offer and see if its accepted. most sites i use dont allow 'offers' all parts for sale have to include a price. so id haggle on that price.
or be a bit smarter and post a "ive been looking for a part x for ages and someones offered me part x for Łxxx (make up your own guess price), is it worth it ? what should i pay for that part in that condition? " instead of a "whats it worth" thread
