I've got a Belkin at home, never had a problem with it in just over a year.

I bought a Linksys for work under the instructions of a mate [WAG54GS] and it wouldn't stay connected, kept turning itself off or losing connection. I even got a replacement for it under warranty and that did the same within a month. It always worked again on reboot but that's not what you need to be doing when you're trying to prop finance deals etc.

In the end [I hope!] I got another Belkin for work as well and touch wood, 3 ish months later it's running fine with no issues.

If i had to plump for one name, it would by linksys.
- BUt netgear are good network gear for what they are, as are belkin. Although the latter tend to be a bit over priced imo.

- Linksys have made a bit deal of being part of Cisco, a name that no one can deny is good enough for a domestic enviroment. But how conected the two brands are other than ownership, who knows!

So far in my experience, the only link between Linksys and Cisco is on paper - Cisco technology and reliability have yet to find their way into anything wearing a Linksys badge, at least on the ones I've used anyway.

G should still be fine for gaming, but for the difference in price go for the G+

i bought a linksys n point even better then the G+ think it was only £58

802.11b is fine for gaming.... as long as you're not suffering very low signal level.

A good rule of thumb is to get wireless thats at least twice the speed of your internet connection..
