I know u have a main earthing point for alot of wires in the drivers footwell behind the speaker pod, but do any earth in the passenger side? reason being i have a brown wire that comes from in the door but it doesnt appear to join to anything. Im not sure where its from, be it central locking or electric window and i cant really be done with taking the panel off again lol. Just wondered if anyone can confirm this please.

 

yeah there is an earth passenger side..think three wires earth from the same point iirc..

 

Hmmm i only have one wire which appears to be an earth. I hate wiring lol.

moesin, yeah i think it is mate. I just didnt know if it was meant to be earthing into the pasenger footwell area, or if maybe the loom i had got had been cut and messed about with.

 

if there has been a earth in the passanger side there should be a screw hole by the speakers

 

just found out if its amk 4 the central locking earth should join into the window earth inside the rubber boot not like the mk3 where it screws to the body

 

Oh right cheers mate, thats great. Hmm dunno why mines not joined then, maybe i'll just earth it to the body anyway, shouldn't think it'd do it any harm hey, better than not being earthed lol.
