Have a butchers on here mate http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/ they only sell the decent car care products, none of this halfords rubbish!

Id never use a normal sponge to wash it as you will have swirls everywhere after a few washes!
Use something like this http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washin...e/prod_13.html only a fiver, ive got one and its millions times better than a sponge, its very very soft and thick material so it traps dirt inside and doesnt rub onto the paint work, plus it holds loads of water/soap, awesome sponge

Dry it with something like this http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washin.../prod_154.html which again is a million times better than the normal leather drying affair, i dryed two cars with mine and i didnt wring it out once!, takes half the time aswell.

Both of those will mean you can wash the car without scratching your new paint work.

Anything else?

Have you been living under a rock! Autoglym do "good" stuff yeah, but you can spend the same amount or a few quid more and get something WAY better.

For example most of these http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish...sh/cat_16.html

Or if you have abit more cash and want something even better http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/do.../prod_398.html

Hi Matt,

Try and leave it about a week before you start sealing it.

IMO I would use Zaino on your car. You can get the kit from our online store, www.elitedetailer.com

If you would like a step by step guide as what to use and so on then I am happy to help you there too.

Best Regards

My post is still very much sound advice i reckon, its all very well "sealing it", then washing it with a 50p sponge and undoing all your work in about 5mins its all about using the right stuff to wash the car with AFTER aswell.

Are you doing this by hand?

If your flatting with 2k and then it might take you ages with G10. 3M's better but if you already have the Farecla then I guess you can use the G3 followed by the 10.

Forget you water magnet and get one of these, far safer and much better: http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin...mrid=1&cmpid=2

Here is a really good wash mitt: http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin...mrid=1&cmpid=2

You can carry on using your shampoo but when it's finished try out the Zaino Z7.

The Gold Class wax is pretty poor, its better than nothing but if you want to get something thats mega then go with this: http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin...mrid=1&cmpid=2 Its much much more durable and will make your car look the nuts.

PM me if you would like a step by step guide as "How to Wash a Car Safely". I will email you one.
