Default 5th injecter position (90 spec carrier)

oki doki, got a mf2 5th injecter system for my erst powered xr2. now i have a 90 spec rocker and charge carrier (obviously lol) and the 5th injecter came with an 80 spec carrrier, easy i thought, just put it on the 90 spec, well not so easy...

As you can see, try and put it eather side and it conflicts with the carrier mounts. has anyone else got one fitted on a 90 spec carrier? can you show me a pic? or do i have to use an 80 spec

cheers

As above! change the rocker cover, its the easiest option by far!
unless of course you've got a custom cover and want to keep it.

Stick it in front of the carrier mount, bottom left side.

Fit it so it is firing AGAINST the air stream - this is the better way to do it for atomisation - keep it where it is and twist it 180 degrees.

I had one on a 90 spec charge carrier - will find a pic tomorrow, not got laptop with me
Mine had to go on the Right Hand Side of the carrier, below the bracket - putting it on the other side was a bit dangerous if i smashed the front end of the car in and knocked the end of the injector off

Yeah lots of people use the colds start injector, easier than modding your Charge Carrier pipe.
Only drawback is that it cant fuel that much extra compared to a big injector in ther CC pipe, ok if your not running massive boost.
