Look here first:
https://passionford.com/forum/general-car-related-discussion/264069-arb-vs-compression-struts.html

The set up that the guy has got on page 2 is what I would go for .

cheers Mike, didnt know about beefing up the springs if compression struts where fitted, to be honest that would be so harsh on our roads as my car is just a road car, ARB will stay in place then just get some tcas

Tony,
Are you saying you do the kit that is on page 2 of the the link I posted up?

If so, could you put the link here, as I would like to do something like this to my own car .

Sorry to clarify by 'both' kits I mean the TCA's and compression strut kit that the thread starter asked for.

I didnt see him asking for modified roll bars ?

From reading your other posts you seem to be wanting an adjustable bladed type roll bar so you can go softer and harder at your own will. The set up you link too on Pg 2 will not allow that will it ??

No, what I REALLY want is compression struts whilst retaining an ARB. The normal way to do this is to use the Grp A forward mounted bladed type, but no-one seems to be able to advise which one to use that is "close" to the standard one (which would allow some adjustment either way). However, I would accept the standard one being used with compression struts as a base. I could then try different size standard type ARBs easily and cheaply until I dialled in the suspension to suit my driving style .

People fitting the Gp A stuff don't want it to be running close to standard so I suppose thats why no one knows the answer ?

How do they know that they aren't close to standard, they don't seem to know ANYTHING about them ?!

If someone could give me the figures for the different Grp A roll bars, I could then pick the one that was closest to standard myself, but it is the fact that no-one seems to have the figures for the bladed ARBs they have for sale .

If someone is buying some off me or is a customer, then I have no problem providing this information.

I'm looking to BUY off someone, not circumvent them .
