I have driven a EVO 8 and My Friend has Just bought a EVO 5 They are both wicked cars.

The EVO 5 Feels Like the Escos Tbh

I have driven many Evos and few Sierras and they are as far as they can be, maybe Fiat Seicento is more different, LOL. They are great for what they are both of them, but Sierra is only nice to drive if you treat it like historic car, on the same terms it would be pathetically bad compared to the Evo...or even Ford Focus for that matter.

I ve had evo 5 - 6 8 and now a 10

I ve also had 2 escort cosworths and a 2wd sierra

Im not going to start an argument because i believe they are all awesome cars in their own right and their own era but the 10 is by far the best the handling is mind blowing

I am surprised you are not disappointed with the 10 after 8 or 9.

I haven't tried RS model yet, but GSR is completly from different world then earlier cars and not really something I would like to have. We'll see when RS X's come later this month.

You mean KMH probably?

Agreed, I thought the EVO X was very limp-wristed and "cold" compared to the previous models, which were far more hardcore.

E.g. the steering is much more like normal cars, not Evo signature ultra-sharp. Actually it feels like the Subaru.... and the cars feels even heavier then it is.

I do not, I know the differences, still the chasis and drivetrain are the same, or very similar in most respects. As I said, two Evo X's RS are on the way and we'll see.

driven an evo 10 fq 300 and raced a white one. Slow in my opinion. Dont give you anywhere near the rush you get from even a slightly modified cossie.

To Own one now the Evo is a no brainer if you want a useable car. If you want a pampered toy a Cossy is the perfect ornament. BUT let me rewind to 1986 when the Sierra Cosworth was launched it was the fuckin bollox both for wild looks and performance not to forget the price at £16000 when a Porsche 944 was touching £30000. In fact i'm prepared to offer a small confession - as a schoolboy at the time i did once or maybe twice masturbate over a poster of a moonstone blue 3dr, i hasten to add over, not on the poster. Please dont take piss too much!
