Just a question to ask if they are useable or if they are a complete nightmare to use.

I was looking at a Samsung Omnia or some thing like an HTC diamond but if they are an arse to use was thinking some thing along the lines of a Blackberry bold.

Any thoughts please guys.

Moved from a HTC windows mobile to a Samsung Toco.........awesome phone IMO. Dead easy to use. Stylish and the only thing I miss is wifi .

 

samsung and blackberry arnt touch screen.

imo only i phone are good touch screens, other full touch screen phones are shat if your texting!

I've been using HTC touch for a while now - good phone :thumbsup: Texting is OK, it seems quite clever at guessing what letter you wanted when you mashed the screen with your thumb.

It's for sale as I've just had to change networks for work and got a BB curve. It's got WiFi, tomtom etc....

One thing that is a problem with these touchscreen phones, what do ya do when ya ring a number then given a few options to select!!!!!
Cant press 1 or any numbers cause there's no numbers there to press!!!!!!!!!!

Missis has a samsung tocco and is a good phone but its hard to hear people on it if theres any back ground noise and only thing shit about it is what i said above.

 

The screen shows the numbers mate, just press them there

I had an MDA Vario a few years ago [under the advice of Jay] and it was really, really shit. Great as a gadget but shit as a phone.

You better get onto Blackberry and tell them their touch screen Storm isn't a touch screen then because the adverts are REALLY misleading if you're right.

 

got an htc pda for work and as a phone it's shit. your ear touches the screen and opens up the calendar and all sorts. rubbish.

 

What's it like for people like the rest of us who have normal sized ears?

 

i've got a Palm Treo 750v - great little computer/camera/video/internet in ur hand! It has touch screen and a stylus (and handwriting recognition) but tbh I use the qwerty keyboard all the time and is really quick. The Treo Pro is the newest version and I want one!! lol

 

ive got a sony ericsson...and recently had to get a replacement cause my touchscreen buttons fucked up!! just dont get it wet...its a nightmare!!

I've got a Tocco, at 1st it was fiddly and time consuming when texting but after a month, it's fine. I really like mine, can't fault it.
