Dont get so upset its all about money, these days the championship must go down to the last event or they lose millions. The organisers will bend the rules to see that happens. Doubt they give a monkies who wins in Brazil. they have set up this cliff hanger. Its no longer a Sport just a soap opera.

watching it yesterday morning i was like "ok, what's wrong with the maclaren" and "will the same thing happen to lewis"

alonso just drove passed him without a struggle

looking forward to the end of the season though, still like massa to win over hamilton, but if he don't, fair play to the lad for being less of a twat than last year, he's calmed down enough to take it with ease so lets see how it all pans out

Think the sister mclaren had brake issues and could be why it was easily overtaken

correct, alonso went past so easy as kovi's brakes were sticking eventually why they pulled him out

fooking brilliant point!

all the way through the 2008 championship its been up and down.. kimi goes to sleep for ages then comes back on to keep the championship close with 3 or 4 of the big guns!

you would have thought they would have noticed his brakes before sending him out for the start, as after the warm up lap they were smoking quite bad, good on him to have got as far as he did with them like that

Guess they couldn't take the chance mate, as they only started smoking at the end of the warm up lap when he was sat on the grid, i doubt Mclaren wanted to pull him from the field and have him start last when the problem may have gone away AND he MAY have been able to help Lewis, in the end it didn't matter as mismatched tyres gave him bad understeer in the first stint, so IMO it was nothing ventured nothing gained on this occasion

I really do hope Lewis wins, it would be great for British Motorsport and also amazing for the lad to be the youngest ever World Champion of F1.

Doesnt Lewis have to come 5th and Massa have to win?

well, hamilton is on second race engine, he is going to be playing for arround 5th, but alonso hates him with a passion. As renault are cheating at the mo and have fitted somthing to that car alonso will be about 3 or 4th. just perfect to shunt hamilton of the road.

what would alonso loose doing that?

and it would make his year

I reckon Ferrari will bend the rules as far as technically possible, and whinge at the first sign that it's not going their way.

I think Kimi would rather run Massa of the track tbh.

If Massa does win the championship, kimi will be seen as the ferrari No2 at the start of next season, dont think he wants that.

more importantly I want to know how we end up with Steven Ryder and Mark Blundell and Spanish F1 fans get this presenter.. no wonder the fans are more enthusiastic, it has nothing to do with Alonso

Me too, I was still expecting an announcement this morning about him breaking a rule and being demoted 5 places.

I still think Lewis will have this taken off him by fair meand or foul I'm afraid. It all goes back to this:

I think Hamilton will need to be very carefull or get in to the first corner first and then xxxx off in to the distance as there will be a few wanting to knock him off at the first corner,
I dont think Kimi will do it as I dont think he cares who else wins.

Kimi can hardly bring himself to help Massa it would seem. When interviewed he didnt seem at all helpful about helping his team mate. Ok he let him pass on Sunday but he had to reallt didnt he. I would be more concerend about the snivelling, dribbling alonso than Kimi
