Default Big dilema

i have a series 1 engine in my series 2 escort i went to fit my new samco kit today and front mount airtec intercooler nothing fits i have a standard escort rad so i need an escort turbo 1 which im in the process of sourcing but am i right in saying the series 1 water pump is different to the series 2 i expected some hassle fitting this stuff but wtf lol

im sure the s1 water pump has two outlets and s2 1? sure sum1 can correct or confirm this.. al try n get a pic of mine if u want? (s1)...

Yes S1 & S2 water pumps are differnt.

but u can just block off the one tht points gearbox way and use the big one as a S2 one,or just stick a S2 pump on it

is the pump easy to change

Yes mate from what i rememeber....... cam belt off, bottom pulley off, undo about 800 little (well more like 8 ) bolts.....pump off!!

like said pretty easy,just time it up proper,and seal the pump,coz theres noting worse then doing it all,sticking it together then it leaks!!!!
