hi all ive just rebuilt my bottom end ansd got a few queries, first of all the end caps dont line up perfect there about 2mm out at the end is this a problem? also i have built it up and it turn but you have to use stillsons to turn the crank is this ok?
Everytime you install/tighten a main or big end cap you should rotate the engine a couple of revolutions. If there is any unsual tightness then the last bearing that was tightned has a problem and needs checking. The engine will get slightly harder to turn the more bearings are tightned down and the more pistons installed.
