Default Supra experts?

My mate has a non turbo supra
He has found a switch under the dash (drivers side above the clutch is think he said) that he thinks is factory fitted but doesn't know what it does
Anyone know what it is?

Thanks

Has he never thought of flicking the switch to see what it does? Or would that be too sensible.

Is it like a button at the top of the clutch travel rather than an on/off type switch?

If it's not, do you have a pic?
