Default Supermarket Fuel Sources

Which fuel companies do the big supermarkets (Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons) source their fuel from?

They all source their fuel from the same place - your local depo/refinary.

The difference is whats in the tanker.

Supermarket fuel has less aditives, hence its cheaper.

Do supermarkets say not use say Shell or BP in the first instance to acquire the fuel or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

If the local depo is BP then its BP - but if shell is closer then they supply that.

They all trade contracts as transporting from Shell in Essex to Birmingham is an expensive thing to do.

The truck isn't an indicator of whats fuels in it
