Me to.

Clarke have you tried reading the megasquirt manual?

Its online and should give you all the answers you need.

You need to use easytherm to configure an S19 file that you then load onto your ecu. This should get your ecu reading the right temps.

with MS it doesn't matter which injector you connect together since they all fire at the same time. the phrase "semi sequential" is a misnomer since they are just batch fired and the fact that there are two injector firing circuits is simply for load sharing.

if you can't make an s19 file you can't use MS! mind you setting up MS is a significant undertaking and not easy as is often made out - very interesting though. you'll find it much easier if you get a stimulator to play with it first

Correction: they CAN fire all at the same time, they can also ALTERNATE. Sometimes you have to run them alternating, depending on the size of the injector. I tend to run anything I do as two squirts + alternating. That then gives you similar duty cycles as if you were running fully sequential.

The two circuits are not for load sharing, although that is a byproduct. The purpose is for the above functionality.

yes my error (it was 12.45am!) but the essence of my point remains: whatever you do with MS in terms of injector firing, if they all fire the same number of times per engine cycle, changing which pairs of injectors that clarke connects in parallel will not cure his problem!

Clarke, i'll try and find/write you a quick guide to loading your S19 onto your MS.

As said before, best thing to do is get the car in a state ready to map, supply some grub eg takeaway pizza and have a PF night of mapping with the usual suspects. I'm sure we can get it up and running nicely.

Clarke,

Have you got a wideband? Has the car got any ticket/tax?

No need to bring it to me. Just arrange an eve with the east london crew, chip, jay etc and i'll pop down too on the bike.
